Each piece in this series starts with a cast of my body, which I later shape in porcelain.

For this piece, I worked with white porcelain, layering and firing it several times to achieve the crackle surface. The piece is fired at 1250°C with a transparent glaze, and to finish it, the cracked areas are hand-painted with gold enamel and lustre.

The piece is mounted on a white wooden backing and hangs on the wall like a painting.
